Erected by WILLIAM HARRIS merchant in memory of his mother HELEN GIBSON who died 12th November 1816 aged 38 years his sister HELEN died 19th September 1818 aged 8 his father WILLIAM HARRIS died 12th February 1838 aged 56 his widow MARGARET GIBSON died 16th Janaury 1869 aged 78 and of their children RODERICK who died at Bahia 26th June 1850 aged 22 and EUPHEMIA wife of WILLIAM VALENTINE died at Calcutta 18th February 1851 aged 27 years Original Stone inscription. Erected by William Harris, Baker, Witch Know, Dundee, in memory of Helen Gibson his spouse, who died XIIIth November MDCCCXVI, in the XXXIXth year of her age.
