This stone was erected by PATRICK and MARGARET GREENHILL to the memory of their sister CATHERINE, who died the 31st Jan'y 1790 aged 74 and his daughter MARGARET who died the 4th September the same year aged 14 the above PATRICK GREENHILL died the 12th of August 1792 aged 69 and is also here interred also MARY GREENHILL who died the 26th of May 1794 aged 22 years CHRISTIAN GREENHILL died 15th Dec 1800 aged 18 years JEAN GREENHILL died 16th April 1803 Claimant: James Duncan Esq, Balmossie, Merchant Dundee Source:Register of Tombs and Monuments in Dundee Burial Ground, 1832.
