Erected By James Scott and Alexander Scott In memory of their father Alexander Scott Grocer Who died in dundee 18th Feby 1849 aged 49 years and his wife Ann Coutts Died at St Andrews 5th Septr 1881 Aged 64 years Also their sons William Died Dundee 15th March 1868 aged 26 years Thomas Died at Dundee 16th August 1861 aged 14 years and John Scott brother of the Above Alexr Scott died at Broughty ferry 1848 and John Coutts brother of Ann Coutts Died at Dundee 1850 All of whom are interred here The above Alexander Scott ?? 1908 aged 63 years
