1835 Erected by Alexander Scott Sawyer in Dundee and his spouse Margaret Hernie In memory of their children Jessie, George and David who all died in infancy The above Margaret Hernie died on the 14th of November 1835 aged 56 years also their daughter Margaret wife of William Dewars who died 28th January 1836 aged 31 years and their son William Dewars who died 15th February 1836 aged 28 months also the above Alexander Scott died on the 1st September 1845 aged 65 years God plants his flowers when he thinks *sic |
