1825 Erected By JAMES SMITH at Seafield whose sisters CHRISTIAN & ISABEL lie here revised by JOHN SMYTH in memory of his father JAMES SMYTH who died 9th Sept 1826 aged 65 years The above John Smyth died at Taits Lane, Hawkhill, on 23rd March 1845, John Smyth also named aged 51 years, much respected and beloved by all who knew him. REAR: Light is the mould upon my heart, No sound disturbs my peaceful rest, No friends I mourn, no cares I have, No pains, no sorrow in the grave.
