This ston was Erected by JAMES KNIGHT baker in Dundee in memory of his parents viz ALEXANDER KNIGHT gardener in Dundee who died the 2nd day of February 1742 aged 71 years as also AGNES KYD spouse to the said ALEXANDER KNIGHT who died the 1st day of February 1746 aged 81 years
