1847 Erected By ELIZABETH ADAM in memory of her husband THOMAS PRIEST late of the 53rd Regiment foot who died at Lochee 3rd December 1846 aged 69 years also of her former husband ALEXANDER FYFE sergeant 53rd regiment foot who was wounded at the siege of Callinger 27th September 1814 and died in Bengal Indies 12th February 1815 aged 34 years
