1838 Erected By JOHN COLLINS Mariner Dundee EUPHEMIA GRAY his spouse in memory of their daughter JOANNA who died 28th September 1835 aged 13 months and of their son GEORGE who died 14th July 1854 aged 18 years the above JOHN COLLINS died 4th Sepr 1855 aged 53 years REAR: Time drops the curtain soon with some, Though in the bloom of youthful days, When heavens appointment hour to come, The call admits of no delays, Prepared or unprepar'd we must, Our former claim to time give o'er To mingle with our mother dust, And mix with mortals here no more Dundee 27 Nov 1855, Revisal dues paid by the family of the late John Collins, Mariner.
