1835 Erected By ALEXANDER ROBERTSON Shipmaster Dundee and ROBERT ROBERTSON Manufacturer Kirkland works In memory of their father WILLIAM ROBERTSON who died 12th February 1835 aged 65 years By Robert Robertson, manufactory foreman and Alexander Robertson, seaman. The above Alexander Robertson died at sea, on board the barque Morgiana of Dundee, of which he was Master, on the 10th January 1836, in Lat. 43° 3' N., Lon 10° 3' W, in the 38th year of his age. John Thomson, his father in law, of H.M.C. Dundee, died 10th May 1836, in the 62nd year of his age. A sorrowing widow thus deplored the loss of a loving husband, and an indulgent father.
