1819 Erected By THOMAS BUTTER Merchant Westport Dundee In memory of his spouse JANET MACINTOSH who died 29th August 1818 aged 73 years and 6 months Also the above mentioned THOMAS BUTTER who died ???? 24th October 1825 Aged 78 years. Here also lie the remains of their daughter Janet Butter, wife of Alexander Crichton.
