1854 Erected by DAVID MELVILLE and DAVID WALKER ship-wrights in memory of their mother ELISABETH TULLOCH who died 8th November 1835 aged 42 years Also in memory of their father DAVID MELVILLE ship wright who was drowned crossing the tay 28th May 1815 aged 28 years Also of ADAM WALKER Mason Who died 4th December 1853 aged 64 years. The above mentioned JAMES WALKER died at Gernmantown Australia on the 5th day of January 1888 in the 65th year of age the above DAVID MELVILLE died at Dundee 14th November 1888 in the 78th year of his age 25 Sept 1854 revisal dues paid James Walker, ship carpenter, son of the late Adam Walker.
