Erected by JAMES REID Manufacturer Dundee in memory of MARGARET DONALDSON his spouse who died the 10th February 1834 aged 44 years an affectionate wife and tender mother also their children WILLIAM VALENTINE REID died 19th December 1812 aged 13 months JEAN died 24th Octr 1819 aged 6 years JAMES dies 22nd December 1819 aged 5 years JAMES died 4th January 1823 aged 3 years ANDREW died 16th January 1823 aged 5 years MARY ANN REID died 10th Sept 1831 aged 2 years The above JAMES REID died 11th July 1854

Likewise in memory of his father JAMES REID tailor in Dundee who died 22nd April 1795 aged 53 years also his mother JEAN SPANKIE who died 29th May 1826 aged 82 years 1795 erected by Jean Spankie for James Reid, tailor.
