Here lyes 8 children of James Oven, sailor in Dundie,- James Oven who died in the year 1713, and of age on year; and Helen Oven who died 1715, of her age 4 year; George Oven who died 1715, of his age on year. J.O.; M.G. 1813. Revised by Betty Mitchell, Grand child of George Oven, sailor, in memory of her son Elijah Evans, who died 1st October 1812, aged 18 years. Why do you weep for me as dead, Since I am only gone. To Jesus my exalted head, To worship at his throne.
