1846 Erected by JAMES HILL baker Dundee and AMELIA MILL his spouse in memory of their family Viz PATRICK who died 23rd Decr 1816 aged 6 years and 9 months WILLIAM 8th June 1822 aged 18 years JAMES 10th August 1823 aged 15 years ALEXANDER 10th March 1826 aged 20 years The above AMELIA MILL died 5th October 1826 aged 42 years also JAMES HILL December 1845 aged 66 years revised by GEORGE H-HILL 4 July 1846 revisal dues paid by George H Hill, corn merchant for permission to remove the old stone and replace it by a new one, without prejudice to the rights of others per minute of Hospital Committee of 29 May 1846.
