Erected By CHARLES ARCHER Brewer in Dundee and VIOLET BANKS his spouse in memory of JANET MATTHEW who died 18th February 1842 aged 60 years and also her relatives who are here interred this stone is likewise ment ???? (stone has sunk) to perpetuate the memory of Alison Matthew, mother of the above Charles Archer, who died 24th May 1834, aged 63 years, and of Andrew Archer his father, who died 25th Jany 1839, aged 80 years, and also their son George M Archer, who died at sea.
