1817 Memento Mori Horah- Fugat Erected By DAVID LOWSON Manufacturer Hilltown Dundee in memory of his spouse JEAN BALFOUR who died 25th Dec 1816 aged 41 also his daughter ELISABETH who died 22nd Feb 1817 aged 4 years also BARBARA died 29th July 1817 aged 3 years.

All ya that pass by praise you draw nigh and weep while drawn with grief for my UXOR my dear & my daughter lie here now their sorrow and pain to them has proved gain for in death they have found relief.
