1833 Erected By JOHN WISHART flaxdresser Dundee in memory of his spouse MARGARET HOW who died 28th November 1830 aged 48 years also four of their children viz JAMES who died 20th February 1826 aged 17 years CHRISTIAN aged 10 months DAVID aged 5 years and one who died in infancy also of their daughter ELIZABETH who died 22nd June 1835 aged 24 years also his daughter MARGARET who died 6th Nov 1842 aged 6 years the above JOHN WISHART died 11th Jany 1844 aged 57 years
