1834 Erected By ROBERT PATTIE Mariner Dundee and his spouse PENUEL GRAY in memory of their beloved son JAMES who died 29th Oct 1833 aged 19 years and of their daughter ISABELLA who died 15th June 1830 aged 6 years also of JOHN who died in infancy the above PENUAL GRAY died 20th Novr 1850 aged 60 years
Weep not parents dear, but be content, I was not yours, but only lent; Dry up your tears, weep no more, I am not lost but gone before. So go thy way prepare to die; Repent with speed, make no delay, I in my bloom was called away.
