1831 Erected by JOSEPH DOCTOR tenant in Coldside and his spouse HELEN PEDDIE in memory of their daughter ELIZABETH who died 17th Oct 1831 aged 21 years the above HELEN PEDDIE died 4th March 1849 aged 61 years also their son ALEXANDER who died in London 31st December 1852 aged 35 years and is interred here and JAMES who was drowned in the Bay of Biscay on board ship Varoon 7th January 1854 aged 30 years the above JOSEPH DOCTOR died 5th November 1858 aged 75 years
