1851 Erected By WILLIAM JOBSON Druggist in Dundee in memory of SARAH JOHNSTON his wife who died 24th September 1849 aged 48 years also JANET S JOBSON their only daughter who died at Dundee 28th July 1862 in the 26th year of her age and is interred in the parish churchyard of Newtyle 5 Nov 1851 William Jobson, druggist permitted to erect a monument on this spot without prejudice to the rights of other parties or otherwise in terms of minutes of Hospital Committee of 30 Sept 1850 & 3rd Sept 1851 (monument 111-2) Source:Register of Tombs and Monuments in Dundee Burial Ground, 1832
