1837. Erected by David Ewen, Shoemaker, Dundee, in memory of his wife, Ann Preston who died November 24th 1827, aged 56 years and their children, Agnes, David and Ann. Also Alexander, a carpenter, died May 11th 1837, aged 42 years. Isabel who died February 14th 1848, aged 54 years. The above David Ewen, who died September 9th 1849 aged 79 years.
