1844 Erected By DAVID CHRISTOPHER Dundee in memory of his mother JANET STORRIER who died 13th Sept 1835 aged 58 years also of his brother WILLIAM who died at Davis Straits on the 22nd of April 1837 aged 21 years also of his father MARK CHRISTOPHER who when following his occupation of pilot was drowned by the swamping of his boat at the mouth of the Tay 31st Jan 1843 aged 66 years
