Sarcophagus of alexander Williamson, Maltman. On one side is commemorated the first wife of Williamson, 1660 ; and on the other side is the second wife, 1684. the initials of each are on the end of the slab.
Here lyes ane godly and vertvovs honest woman Jean Boyack spovs to Alexander Williamson Maltman Bvrges in Dundie who departed this life the 16th day of May 1654 and of her age 52 years Here lys an godly and vertous honest woman, Margaret Cristal, spouse to Alexander Williamson, maltman, Burges in Dundee, who departed this life the 28 day of February 1660, and of hire age 20 years. Here lyes ane godly and vertous honest woman Jeane Boyack, spouse to Alexander Williamson, Maltman, Burges in Dundie, who departed this lif the 16 day of May 1684*, and of hire age 52 years.
