1835 By MARTHA JAMIESON Relict of the late PETER SMITH Harbour porter Dundee In memory of their children JOHN who died 8th Sepr 1806 aged 1 1/2 years HELEN died 12th octr 1813 aged 7 years DAVID died 18th Octr 1813 aged 1 years AGNES died 29th Octr 1813 aged 3 years MARTHA died 6th Feb 1817 aged 3 years Erected by the Harbour Porters to the memory of Peter Smith, their late Brother, who died 27th Decr, 1834, aged 57 years. This monument is raised by the Harbour Porters of Dundee, as a tribute of their regard and esteem for him.
