Adjoining 5th recess, table monument to David Anderson of Balgay. Under it are fragments of an old stone circa 1630, bearing name of Guthrie, Merchant. (9A) Claimant: Family of Anderson of Balgay Source:Register of Tombs and Monuments in Dundee Burial Ground, 1832. 1810 Erected in memory of David Anderson Esquire of Balgay, whose body is below this stone interred. He died 28th February 1808 aged 59 years. His infant son David Anderson also lies below this stone. He died 24th May 1808 aged 6 weeks.
