1744 This stone was erected by WILLIAM CARMICHAL proprietor of West-lands in memory of his spouse MARY STEWART who died 17th April 1743 aged fifty years -- here lyes interred JEAN MUDIE spouse to DA THOMS Merchd Dundee who died Decr 31st aged 36 years also JEAN THOMS child to DA THOMS JEAN MUDIE who died August 12th 1763 aged 15 months
