Inscription.

1777, Dundee 19th August, This stone was erected by Alexander McNucator, Gardener in Dundee, husband to Mary Kettle, in memory of their three children who died in nonage, Fanny, David and Jean McNucator.

Revised 1806 by James Nucator, eldest son to the above Alexander Nucator, who died 20th July 1796, aged 66 years; and son to the above Mary Kettle, who died 18th December 1802 and were both interred below this stone; and near this stone lyes James Nucator's first wife and his four children.
