The remains of a wealthy heritor from the nieghbourhood of Kirriemuir. (Charles Wedderburn, Esq., of Pearsie) were interred here yesterday; and, not withstanding the nightly watch kept up in our burying-ground (the Howff), it was deemed necessary to dig a wide and deep grave, which was laid with flags in the bottom, and after the coffin was deposited on them a ponderous cast-iron shell was conveyed into the grave by means of a block and tackle and properly secured to the flags.
