1851 Erected By George and David Bower In memory of their father Alexander bower who died 20th January 1854 aged 59 years and their mother Jane Cupar who died 1st march 1860 aged 66 years, also Alexander bower Son of the above David Bower and Eliza Smith who was found drowned in the Dighty 31 March 1861 aged 2 years and 3 months Deeply regretted And their infant daughter who died 21st August 1871 Also Eliza Ann Smith their daughter who died 10th march 1874 aged 4 1/2 years and their son David who died 29th March 1874 aged 19 years Eliza Smith wife of David Bower who died 21st July 1875 aged 44 years A loving wife and anxious mother George Bruce ??
